1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using Mahando.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and to applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the website. These terms apply to the portfolio, public project pages, website contact routes and voluntary contribution feature.

Mobile applications, client work, payment-provider services and third-party platforms may be governed by separate terms. Where a separate written agreement applies, that agreement controls the subject it covers.

2. What this website provides

Mahando.com presents the professional work of Gabriel Marwa Mahando, including selected Android and Flutter products, engineering capabilities, automation systems, backend integrations, product operations and related contact information.

The website is intended to help visitors understand past and current capabilities, reach the correct app or external listing, request support, discuss a potential professional engagement or voluntarily support independent work.

3. Responsible and permitted use

You may browse, link to and use the public website for lawful personal, professional or informational purposes. You agree not to:

• interfere with the website, server, security controls or another visitor's use;
• attempt unauthorized access, vulnerability exploitation, credential attacks or automated abuse;
• submit false, unlawful, harmful or misleading information through a form or contact channel;
• copy, scrape or republish substantial website content in a way that infringes rights or misrepresents its source;
• use Mahando's identity, project material or contact details for impersonation, fraud or unsolicited mass communication;
• introduce malicious code, excessive traffic or other material intended to degrade the service; or
• use the website in violation of law, third-party rights or applicable platform terms.

Reasonable public indexing by ordinary search engines is permitted. Automated access that burdens the service or extracts protected material may be restricted.

4. Portfolio statements and professional engagements

Project descriptions, screenshots, technologies, install figures and delivery outcomes are provided to explain the nature of the work. They reflect information available when published and may change as products, platforms and store listings evolve.

No result, revenue level, ranking, install count, release timing or commercial outcome is guaranteed for a future project. Technical and commercial decisions depend on scope, codebase condition, platform rules, third-party services, budget and other circumstances.

A professional engagement begins only when the relevant parties agree its scope and commercial terms. Proposals, statements of work, invoices, confidentiality arrangements, intellectual-property terms and support commitments may be documented separately.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the original website design, written portfolio material, code examples, visual presentation and Mahando branding are owned by Gabriel Marwa Mahando or used with permission. These terms do not transfer ownership to a visitor.

You may quote brief portions for legitimate commentary or evaluation when the source is identified and applicable law permits it. Reproducing a substantial part of the website, presenting it as your own work, removing attribution or using it to create a confusingly similar identity requires prior written permission.

Client-owned material, open-source components, licensed Bible translations, audio recordings, platform marks and other third-party assets remain subject to their respective ownership and licences.

6. Third-party names, links and services

The website may refer or link to Android, Flutter, Firebase, Google Play, YouTube, WhatsApp, payment providers and other services. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners. Reference to a technology or platform describes the work or provides a useful destination; it does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.

External websites control their own content, availability, accounts, security and terms. Mahando is not responsible for an external service merely because the website links to it. Review the provider's terms and privacy information before using it.

7. Voluntary contributions and payment requests

A contribution made through the support feature is voluntary. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, it is not payment for a specified service, does not buy ownership in a product and does not create a professional engagement.

Payment requests are processed with external payment or Mobile Money providers. Authorization, settlement, reversals, charges, limits and availability may depend on the selected provider. You are responsible for checking the amount and recipient before approving a request.

Never enter a Mobile Money PIN on Mahando.com or share it by email or message. A legitimate Mobile Money authorization is completed on your own device through the provider. If a transaction is duplicated, incorrect or disputed, contact support@mahando.com promptly with the reference and non-sensitive details.

8. Website availability and changes

Reasonable care is taken to keep the website useful and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not promised. Hosting maintenance, network conditions, third-party outages, security work or product updates may temporarily affect a page or feature.

Content, links, features and these terms may be corrected, replaced, suspended or removed where reasonably necessary. Material changes to these terms will be shown by updating the date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, an additional notice.

9. Information and warranty disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Mahando.com is provided on an “as available” basis for general portfolio and informational use. Reasonable efforts are made to present accurate information, but completeness, currency, suitability and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gabriel Marwa Mahando and Mahando will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from use of, inability to use or reliance on this public website or an external link.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricts a mandatory consumer right, or replaces a liability provision agreed in a separate professional contract. Where website liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent the law permits in the circumstances.

You remain responsible for your conduct and for information you submit. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable loss or cost caused by your unlawful misuse of the website, infringement of another person's rights, or deliberate interference with its operation.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without overriding any mandatory protection that applies to a visitor elsewhere. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties should first make a reasonable effort to resolve a website-related concern directly and in good faith.

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary; the remaining terms will continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver of it.
